On January 19th, cultural actors will take the stage
On this day, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao will address the importance of language management in the cultural domain, with the participation of creators and cultural stakeholders. We will have the opportunity to discover best practices in language management and reflect on personal language-related choices.
Representatives from the Guggenheim Museum, Durangoko Azoka (the Book and Music Fair of Durango), the Euskadi Orchestra, and the International Choral Competition of Tolosa will be present to discuss decisions made regarding language as institutions, current practices, and the impact of initiatives or encounters on language management. Subsequently, we will have the chance to hear the experiences and reflections of the screenwriter, director, and producer Esti Urresola, actress Itziar Ituño, and musician and producer Pello Reparaz on language choices made at the individual level.
Throughout the morning, Xabi Paya, director of the Getxo House of Culture, will moderate. According to him, "The Languages Lanean Congress will be very important as it will address language management from various perspectives of today's society."
