Representatives from international organizations and companies will gather on January 18 at Languages Lanean
The first edition of the Languages Lanean Congress will take place on January 18 at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao and on January 19 at the Guggenheim Museum. The objectives are to emphasize the importance of language management in the workplace and to disseminate best practices currently developing in the socio-economic field.
The congress will begin on January 18 at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao and will host representatives from the Basque government and the European Union, as well as executives from local and international companies. Under the guidance of Johann Hägmann from the Federal Union of Nationalities, participants will have the opportunity to explore language management in the context of the European Union. They will also gain insights from Iceland's experience with Jóhanna Vigdís, former CEO of the Center for Language Technology in Iceland. Following that, Guro Refsume will discuss language management in businesses from the perspective of Scandinavian companies.
Additionally, representatives from Google, GKN, KONE, and the Mondragón Corporation will share their experiences. "I would like to encourage people to participate in the congress because together, we can achieve more. We will not only present the experience of the Mondragón Corporation, but we will also learn from the experiences of others," explains Leire Mugerza from the Mondragón Corporation.
